Guided Meditation
Une approche unique développée par Aeternum Institut. Nous travaillons sur 5 composantes : respirer en conscience, le ressenti, le relâchement, la posture et la suggestion.

Meditation and naturopathy
-
During naturopathic support, we have developed a unique approach that combines:
-
Auditory detachment through the vibrational tones of Tibetan singing bowls.
Olfactory detachment through the use of essential oils or incense.
A refined perception of the environment, at the subtle boundary between suggestion and the edges of hypnosis. -
This meditation is a well-being technique designed to support a return to balance and vitality. It is a particular state of consciousness that allows you to experience inner harmony through the internal dynamic it initiates. It may be considered an alternative to sophrology.
-
We work on five core components.
-
Conscious Breathing
-
You learn to regulate your heart rhythm through intentional breathing patterns. Your inhalations, gentle breath retentions, and exhalations are guided in a steady cadence, supported by the resonant sounds of Tibetan bowls. This rhythmic breathing promotes autonomic nervous system balance and fosters physiological coherence.
-
Sensory Awareness
-
At the psychological level, this stage invites a progressive letting go. You observe internal experiences as they arise, with detachment and equanimity. It involves accepting yourself and your life circumstances, past or present, while gradually releasing reactive patterns. Over time, this cultivates a deeper trust in the inherent coherence of life experiences and nurtures an intimate inner calm in the face of desire, fear, or emotional turbulence.
-
Physical Release
-
On the physical level, relaxation allows the psyche to disengage from unconscious identifications with certain negative patterns or emotional imprints that may translate into anxiety, dysfunctional fear, or a sense of lack. As muscular tension softens, deeper layers of stored stress may also begin to unwind.
-
Posture
-
Postural alignment plays a key role in influencing the psyche and freeing the body from imbalances, compressions, or blockages that disrupt physiological function—particularly diaphragmatic movement. Restoring optimal diaphragmatic amplitude enhances breathing efficiency and supports nervous system regulation.
-
At times, you may feel as though you have fallen asleep. However, this sensation does not necessarily indicate sleep but rather a light hypnotic state. You may believe you remember everything, or conversely feel that you remember nothing. This is common. The absence of clear memories can be mistaken for sleep, whereas it often reflects a shift in consciousness.
-
Suggestion
-
Based on your unique emotional landscape, we formulate specific positive statements that engage your imagination and persuasive capacity to encourage meaningful change. This process gradually supports mental reconditioning through constructive thought patterns. By influencing conscious awareness through structured suggestion, we gently access the unconscious, allowing positive effects on both physical and mental states.
-
Important Question
What should you do if negative emotions such as anxiety, fear, pain, or tension arise during meditation? -
First, understand that this is not abnormal. When the body and mind enter a state of relaxation, previously suppressed emotions may surface. This emergence does not mean something is wrong; rather, it may indicate that your system feels safe enough to process what was previously held back.
-
If this occurs, begin by returning to conscious breathing. Slow, steady inhalations and extended exhalations help stabilize the autonomic nervous system and prevent emotional escalation.
-
Next, shift into observation mode. Instead of resisting the emotion, gently acknowledge it. Name it internally if helpful—“fear,” “tension,” “sadness”—without analysis. Emotions often lose intensity when they are recognized without judgment.
-
If the sensation becomes overwhelming, you may open your eyes, adjust your posture, move your fingers or toes, or reorient yourself to the physical environment. Grounding through physical sensation restores a sense of safety.
-
After the session, it is important to verbalize or integrate what surfaced. Emotions that arise during altered states of consciousness can carry valuable information about your inner landscape. Sharing them within the therapeutic framework allows for deeper understanding and integration.
-
Meditation is not about suppressing discomfort; it is about creating a safe space where the body and mind can reorganize. Sometimes this reorganization involves temporary emotional waves. With guidance, these moments often become opportunities for release, regulation, and growth.
-
This approach remains a supportive well-being practice and does not replace medical or psychological care when such care is necessary.
